Dealing with these guys was very difficult. They originally quoted me a price that was all inclusive for my implant surgery including all post op visits. They tried to get me to pay everything up front but I asked to wait and see if my insurance covered any of this even though they said it wouldn’t. My insurance did cover part of it but with what I had already paid and my insurance payment it was overpaid. The reply from the billing was that I wasn’t entitled to any refund.(watch them closely). On another occasion they tried to charge me as I was leaving the office after my visit. I refused to pay until I went home to get my paperwork. Sure enough the original quote was all post op visits included. When I called the office they blame the assistant in the back for the errors and say that I was correct. When having oral surgery I shouldn’t feel like I’m dealing with a used car salesperson. I heard many different excuses from these people including the Doctor saying the prices have gone up. My second implant will be completed by another surgery group because of Oakland Oral Surgery ‘s bait and switch practices. I would prefer to give them no stars but that is not an available option.

Dr. Royal is an awesome surgeon! He did such an excellent job in removing my wisdom tooth and the cyst around it. He is friendly and very knowlegeable. I would recommend Dr. Royal to anyone!
