Oral Surgeon

Early Life & Inspiration

Welcome to our practice.  I grew up in Southeastern Michigan.  My passion for dentistry began at a young age.  With my father being a dentist, I learned firsthand the importance of good oral health, along with the skills and compassion necessary to care for patients.

Education & Dental Training

Academically I excelled and received a full scholarship to attend Wayne State University.  I received my bachelor’s degree in chemistry in 1990.  From there, I went on to the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where I obtained my dental degree in 1994.

While attending dental school, I developed a deep interest in oral surgery.  To further my training, I decided to head west for California to attend the University of Southern California.  I completed their internship program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery before accepting a position in the residency.  From 1995-1999 I participated in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program at USC with completion in June of 1999. During my extensive training in all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, I developed a strong interest in dental implants and have continued it into private practice.

Professional Experience & Certification

I returned home to practice, and joined Oakland Oral Surgery.   I became board certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 2002 and was recertified in 2012 to maintain my Diplomate status.  I have also served as past President to the Western Branch of the Detroit District Dental Society.  I take great pride in caring for my patients and will never make a recommendation that I would not make to my own family.  I also respect that a patient’s time is valuable and will do my best not to have people wait.

Currently, I am on staff at Huron Valley Hospital.

Personal Life

In my free time I enjoy traveling, visiting Florida, golfing and fishing.
