I grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina where my father was a professor at the School of Dentistry. This early exposure to the profession was inspiring and led me to pursue a career in the dental field. I got to witness firsthand how dental care could have a huge impact on people’s lives.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

As a lifelong Tar Heel, I received my bachelor’s degree in both biology and history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2015. During this time, I was also lucky enough to spend an immersive year studying at the University of Oxford. In 2019, I went on to receive my D.D.S. degree from UNC Chapel Hill and was recognized with awards from the Oral Surgery, Oral Pathology, and Implant Dentistry departments. During dental school, I developed an early interest in surgery and was thrilled to match at the University of Michigan 6-year dual degree Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency program, where I completed medical school and was Chief Resident of the service.

CLINICAL EXPERIENCE

During my residency at the University of Michigan, I received extensive training in all aspects of the speciality, including orthognathic surgery (corrective jaw surgery), benign and malignant pathology, cleft lip and palate repair, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) surgery, trauma, cosmetic and therapeutic injectables, dento-alveolar surgery, dental implants, and in-office anesthesia.

PRACTICE PHILOSOPHY

I am so thrilled to be joining a group of practitioners who share my treatment philosophy of caring for each patient as if they were family. While I enjoy all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, I particularly enjoy working with children and their families. My goal is to connect with patients and provide a comfortable, safe, and fear free treatment environment.

Currently, I am on staff at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak and DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital.

LIFE OUTSIDE THE PRACTICE

When not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé Zack and our dog Juno, traveling, running, playing board games and trying out new restaurants in the area. I look forward to seeing you in the office soon!
