A natural tooth consists of a root and a crown. If you compare natural teeth to implant supported replacement teeth, you'll see they have the same basic parts. Both have a crown (the visible part used to chew food) and both have a "root" that holds the tooth securely under the gum and is anchored into the jaw.

Wisdom teeth are the third and final set of molars that most people will develop during their mid to late teenage years or early twenties. Since this time is traditionally associated with the onset of maturity and becoming wiser, we refer to third molars as wisdom teeth.
Some people may have wisdom teeth that erupt into proper alignment behind the second molars. However, in many cases, the mouth is too crowded for the third molars to develop normally. When inadequate space prevents the teeth from erupting, they are called impacted and will most often require removal.
Everybody is real nice Polite and professional did Dr took her time to explain things the one that spit out the most was a girl named Sam great personality. I’m very pleasant.

Everything thing was excellent. Office ladies were very nice and helpful. Dental assistants were professional and the dentist did a remarkable job. It was actually a pleasant tooth extraction. However, I hope it’s my last one.

I will start with the fact that I was sooo nervous to get any dental work done and had never had any done before! The entire office staff from front desk to assistants are great and explain everything! Dr Haviland was wonderful! They assured me all would be good! I literally felt nothing during my extraction and dental implant insertion! I went from white knuckles to totally relaxed! I cannot recommend them enough!!

Friendly and informative staff; it was actually fun to meet everyone. I was nervous going in with my daughter, only because I've had unpleasant experiences myself. A great experience overall went in for a 2 o’clock appointment was out by 2:30 to remove one tooth 30 minutes. Excellent maybe five minutes waiting and waiting room so it was mostly time in the back and overall people were happy and nice. Very good experience. Thank you very much.

All the staff were very personable and professional. There was virtually no waiting. Every step of the procedure was well explained and there was ample opportunity to ask questions. If getting a tooth removed can be a good experience, I have nothing bad to say.

I’m writing this review first because of Dr. Metwally’s humanity, patience, and the way he takes time to talk with you and explain everything before starting any procedure. He extracted my tooth very professionally and made me feel comfortable during the whole process. You can truly tell that he wants to help his patients and not just see you as another patient to take money from or push you into getting an implant if it’s not necessary. After a very bad experience with a previous specialist, it was hard for me to trust any dentist again, but Dr. Metwally restored my confidence. I highly recommend him.
