Meet Dr. Haskins
Oral Surgeon
My dental roots began in Spokane, Washington where my grandfather was a general dentist. Growing up, I always admired his compassion towards patients and dedication to the dental profession.
In 2004, I received my bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Washington and went on to receive my D.D.S. degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2009. After dental school, I decided to enter the rigorous 6-year dual degree Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency program at St. John Providence and Beaumont Health Systems. During my time in residency, I also received my M.D. degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2013.
I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery including surgery for dental implants, dento-alveolar needs, orthognathic deformities, trauma, and pathology. I have found my genuine compassion and empathetic personality helps make patients feel comfortable and at ease. I became board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2018.
Currently, I am on staff at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak.
My personal interests include spending time with my wife Lauren, family and friends. I enjoy staying active outdoors by biking, hiking, running, skiing and traveling.
