I was very anxious going into my wisdom teeth removal surgery. Everyone there was helpful and kind which made the experience much less stressful. The procedure rooms were very comfortable!! My recovery was incredibly speedy and I felt pretty great just a few hours after the surgery. I will always recommend Dr. Royal to everyone!!

A Dental visit of any kind is very "traumatic" to me. BUT - Two extractions - ?? This was an absolute flawless visit - From the first call for an appointment to the surgical assistant and staff - to the doctor and desk staff - Everything here is A+ - The Best of the Best of oral surgeons. Every aspect was great including pain management and the ease of the extractions. The doctor (Dr. K) was caring, funny and so kind (even tossed in a joke or two believe it or not). My surgical assistant even gave me a hug (a HUG!) before I left. She was an absolute doll and an asett to the business. Later in the evening, they even called to see how I was and if I needed anything. To let me know they would be available after hours and that they were there the next day for me if needed! WOW! I would not hesitate to recommend this office - It was not an oral surgeon, it was an experience and a great one considering! Thanks Oakland Staff!

I had been living in Michigan for less than a year when I found myself in need of wisdom tooth extraction. Not knowing many people in the area who could refer me, I received a referral from my dentist to Oakland Oral Surgery. I was quite nervous about the procedure, as I had heard from friends and family it could be a difficult procedure and recovery, especially given that I am in my 30s and the roots have already been formed. However, Dr. Chames and his staff did an excellent job of dispelling my fears, making me comfortable, and answering all my questions. I was unsure whether to proceed with having all four removed at once, and he talked with me at length about the pros/cons of doing them all at once versus just the two that were bothering me, with no pressure at all from him as to my decision. The procedure went quickly and smoothly with minimal pain afterward. I was back to my work and usual activities much sooner than I anticipated. Everyone at the Oakland Oral Surgery office, at both the Novi and Livonia locations, were completely warm, friendly and welcoming. They took great care of me from start to finish, and I would wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone in need of oral surgery. I know I will definitely return for any future needs. Over the years I have had 5 dental implants done by Dr. Azzopardi, the last one being six months ago. Always well explained and performed. I am a very satisfied patient.

The entire staff was great. Laura was friendly, courteous, happy, and easy to talk to, as she went over everything with me in regards to what to expect. You don't get this kind of treatment at some offices. This is the place you want to go if you need your wisdom teeth removed.
